The Inflator
In a restaurant, Sue and Mike are discussing their marital problems, and Sue is feeling optimistic about the conversation, as it sounds as though he may be willing to consider ending his known affair with Brittany, a married MYW (Much Younger Woman). Suddenly he looks at his watch and says, “We have to wrap this up soon because I have to take Brittany to the doctor.” Sue says, “Why do YOU have to take her? Why can’t her mother or her sister or, gee, maybe her HUSBAND, take her?” Mike replies, “Her implants are leaking and they don’t know about her surgery. I am the only one who knows. More importantly, I have a commitment to her.” Sue says, “You are married to me! You have a commitment to me!” Mike says, “Sorry, Sue, gotta run.” IMPLANT PARMIAGANA
Ingredients
Directions
Homemade tomato sauce: in saucepan cook 1/3 c. chopped onion, ¼ c. finely chopped celery, ½ clove minced garlic, 1 t. dried parsley in 2 T. olive oil. Stir in one 16-oz. can Italian tomatoes, 1/3 c. tomato pasties, ½ t. salt, ½ t. dried oregano, ¼ t. pepper, and 1 bay leaf. Simmer , really simmer, gently….GENTLY!!!!!—(yeah, right!) uncovered 45-50 minutes. Remove bay leaf. Remove man. Combine flour and salt. Dip eggplant into furiously beaten egg, then in flour mixture. In large skillet, brown eggplant in oil, which is nearly as hot as your blood. Drain well on paper towel. Place 1 layer of eggplant in a 10x6x2 inch baking dish, cutting slices to fit. Sprinkle with half the parmesan, top with half the tomato sauce, and half the mozzarella. Now, you get to be a two-timer and do it all again. Bake at 400 til heated through, 15 to 20 minutes. Serves 6.
